4:10. ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਣੇ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਭਈ ਵੇਖੋ, ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਏਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਖਬਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਕਲਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਇਹੋ ਇਨਾਮ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ

4:10. when someone told me that Saul was dead— even though he thought he was bringing good news— I seized him and killed him in Ziklag. That was the good news I gave to him!

4:10. Someone once told me, 'Saul is dead,' thinking he was bringing me good news. But I seized him and killed him at Ziklag. That's the reward I gave him for his news!

4:10. when one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his tidings.

4:10. when one told me, 'Behold, Saul is dead,' and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and killed him at Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news.

4:10. When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who [thought] that I would have given him a reward for his tidings:

4:10. Once before a man thought he would bring me good news. He told me, 'Look! Saul is dead.' He thought I would reward him for bringing me the news. But I grabbed this man and killed him at Ziklag.
